When is the 1st and last payment due?

The first payment is due upon booking your date. On average 10 days after tasting a proposal is sent with the bride and grooms choices.

How far will your travel to a venue?

We will travel a 60 mile radius or 1 hour. We do make exceptions.

What is the catering staff attire?

Catering staff will have on black chef coats and or black logo polos. We are in denim jeans unless otherwise specified. Cowboy boots is a must! Texas style. Our women are in knee length black dresses or full pant attire.

How many hours will the catering staff serve?

Typical time is 2.5 hours including setup. After serving all guest we will remain open for another 20 minutes for guest to come for a second helping if the bride and groom have purchased overage of product.

What occurs if several guest that RSVP’d do not attend?

A final head count is requested 10 days before and a updated contract is sent. Revisions can always be made. Due to food born illnesses Thin Blue Smokery can't allow leftovers of any kind.

Do you offer vegetarian options?

Yes, and special dietary needs can be met for food allergies.

Do you offer food to be brought in not catered from Thin Blue Smokery?

We ask that only our food be served as the food we provide. Any food being brought in is a reputation of our company.

Do you have a reduced kids plate option?

We can provide a separate kids menu upon request.

How early do you arrive to a venue?

Our staff will arrive 1 hour for set up of our own tables, linens and all our products only. We are not an event staffing company and only set up and take down our brought items.

Do you serve each table or is this a buffet line?

We have a team that serve each guest a buffet style of the set amount purchased by the bride and groom.
